Decimals from Biggest to Smallest

Kimberly and I, have created a movie ordering from Biggest to Smallest. We hope you enjoy :)

A Ladies Life With Her Beloved Paper.

Kathy was at work one day, just looking through some old newspaper. Kathy found a paper that had a black round shape circle on it. When Kathy went to try and draw around it my pencil went straight through.

So Kathy walked down to the shop and taped it on to the door. Kathy was finally in, Kathy looked around and said to herself, Wow what a treat! As Kathy was loading her bag with heaps of junk food Kathy headed straight back to the door. Something had happened, the paper had disappeared off the door, someone took it maybe or maybe it was blown from the wind. So that's when Kathy started discovering who took the black circle.

Kathy made it out of the dairy in time, enough to put some idea down for the missing paper. Finally her work had finished and now it was time to hang it up, so that people would know it's been missing, Kathy also put up a reward! It took 20 years to find it but still nothing, Kathy had been around the world but still nothing. So she came home and rested down with a nice cup of tea.

Waiting anxiously for someone to come and knock on the door. "BOOM BOOM" someone knock on the door. "Hello" she said with a smile on her face. The man replied "Ahh, yes I've heard that you have lost a piece of paper", "Oh, yes my favourite paper of all" Kathy answered. "Well I guess I have found it for you, and here you are your fine paper" exclaimed the man. "Well thank you very much" Kathy said with happiness. Kathy gave the man his reward and off he went. Kathy was so happy when she had her paper. A few years later Kathy died and Rest In Peace with her beloved paper.

Capture The Flag

Running for the flag on the other teams territory, oh no someone had just tug me so I had to sit down and for someone till they tag me. Waiting and sitting there for someone to get me. Yeah, finally someone had got me. I ran back and made it in, the boys had the cone. Suddenly all I could see is someone zooming and that was my friend, she nearly made it over the line but she got tug. Next was me everyone was looking the other way so I quickly ran I nearly made it but to late a boy just had tug me. 'Bad luck' I said to myself, the boy was very fast. It was a great day to play a game of Capture the Flag.

Tech Recount

It was our first week of tech 2013, at Tamaki Collage. It was also the year 7's first time, we got split into three rotations. There was, Graphics, Cooking and Hard Materials  I was in Cooking with Mrs Heka, she was a great cooker.

In Mrs Heka's class we made pizza potatoes  it tasted delicious. First put some potato in the oven with the peel. Next we had to fry the tasty onion in the pan. As it browns, you put in the Mince with the onions. Mix it together until the mince is cooked, when its finished you put in the tomato paste. With the potatoes in the oven take it out, cut it in half and then scoop the potatoes in a bowl, don't through the peels, keep it! Then mash it together, when it has finished being mashed then through in the mince. Mix it together and then scoop it into the peels. When you are finished put it in the oven and also sprinkle some cheese over. Wait for ten minutes and there is you delicious pizza potatoes.

Beach Time

In the weekend my family and I went to raglan. Putting my feet in the cold icy water, was freezing cold. My cousin and I decided to jump of the bridge, it was my first time so I was a bit scared. So at the same time me and my cousin jumped off the bridge. I had butterflies inside of me, but it was cool and awesome. It was very deep so we couldn't touch the ground at all it took along time to swim back to shore. My cousins and I, walked on the other side of the mountain and swam at the back. The beach was cold and the view was amazing.

After swimming in the beach, we had a BBQ. There was Steak, Patties, Potato salad and also chicken kebabs which was my favourite. It smelt really nice and taste delicious and scrumptious.

I really enjoyed my time in Hamilton with my family, this weekend was the best!

Little things can change people lives

A ‘Lollipop  Moment’ is when you put a smile on someone face to cheer them up, or do something really helpful for them. It might turn a persons life and reputation. You can offer to help or ask your parents if you have spare time.

A new girl started at my school. Her name was kimberly, I didn’t really know her that much. She was lonely, so I told her my name and then me and her really became friends. She enjoyed her first day at school and went home with a smile on her face.

The main passage about the story is that little things can be a big difference.

Our Goal's for 2013

A new year and a new start to school. Room 15 year 7/8's had concentrated on our goals for 2013. This movie shows our goals and stuff that we would achieve in this year. Sport is what my high hopes are this year and succeeding in every subject in school. Kimberly, Dante and I had put this movie together and showed our goals for a NEW YEAR 2013!
